are you using to much flour on your board to roll them out?
Are you scooping your flour out of the bag or using the spoon method to measure? I was scooping it out of the bag and getting a packed cup instead of loosely filling the measuring cup with a spoon and that gave my cookies a flour taste.
I think if you're pouring it then it should be fine. I was scooping out the flour and pressing it into the side of the bag, thus packing the flour down and getting more flour per cup then I needed. By spooning or pouring like you do, you get a loosely filled cup a flour which is what you need for baking. Does that make sense? Hmmm, now I'm not sure why your cookies taste like flour. Maybe your sugar is off or you didn't mix it enough? I don't know, maybe someone else will have some ideas. Sorry I couldn't be more helpful.

Could it be that individual bag of flour? One bag I made a few months ago, must have been from old flour because it tasted odd, so I stopped using that bag and the next batch was fine. Not even sure if this is what happened to mine, but it was the only difference I came up with between the two batches.
