How Do I Attach Fondant To Fondant?

Do people use "supports" when doing figures?? icon_confused.gif

You can use a tiny bit of water (doesn't take much). I think I have read some people use piping gel but hey water is free!

Depending on your figure you could very well need/use supports such as dowels, skewers, spaghetti peices to keep body parts together (how gruesome does that sound) icon_lol.gif

You can also use vodka or royal icing - depending on what the decoration is that you are attaching.

Dissolve a little gumpaste in water for some "glue."

I use a little water too...I use my brush and swirl the spot around until it's good and sticky....

i use extract whatever kind i have handy- never tried anyhting else

I use watered down corn syrup. I've also made the "glue" or just plain water. It depends what I've got around and how fast I need it. They've all worked. icon_smile.gif
