Has anyone ever added pudding to the extender recipe? How can I do that? Do I have to add an extra egg to that as well? I am making a french vanilla cake and can't decide if I want to use the extender recipe or just add the pudding to the cake.

I haven't tried the extender recipe yet but if I were to guess, I'd say add the pudding and an extra egg. HTH

Hi Jen benjr

I have used the extender and it turns out really nice and moist and a bit denser than just the regular cake mix.

I use DH and follow the recipe but add 1 more egg and a box of instant pudding your choice of flavor and just bake as required. Turns out great.

So it is in the oven now. I used the extender mix and then added a small box of pudding and an extra egg so I guess I will just have to wait and see! Thanks for all the help!
