So I made a pound cake for my sisters b-day today.. But it's so plain, what can I do to make it pretty.. I am so lost .. HELP I have to take the cake to her at 7 tonight..

Is it just regular vanilla pound cake? I like to make different flavored glazes and pour over it & let it drip down the sides. You could do an orange or lemon flavored glaze & take some orange or lemon zest and sprinkle on top of the glaze...or the same with lime. Or you could melt some chocolate with a little butter and cream and drizzle that over, then some caramel, then sprinkle on chopped pecans. Or you could use a cream cheese glaze.... icon_smile.gif HTH!

I agree with JennT a nice drizzled glaze would be beautiful and delicious! icon_smile.gif
