What do you think is easier for cookies? What do you think tastes better?

I really want to try the MMF on cookies so I'm just curious to what you all thought. TIA!!!

Let's start by saying I'm not a cookie person. But, I don't see any reason not to use MMF on cookies. I know it's been talked about several times here on CC. You can go through the forum posting and look for cookies and MMF. Good luck with your project and let's see photos.

I think fondant, RBC, and MMF make decorating so much easier...especially for big orders. And it tastes better-IMHO. But I always use royal for cookies that are shipped, or stacked.

Yes I agree with you all. It´s easier to decorate cookies with fondant.

Honestly, I prefer RI for decorating. I can get more details painting with it.

My boys prefer the mmf. They say it taste better and when you bite into the cookie the inside of the icing is chewy.
RI is not well received in my house! I haven't tried Baby Dea's recipe yet. I honestly think they will change their opinion. Did you see the recipe posted?

I am honestly split on this one. I like the MMF and it tastes great, but the taste of my cookies over powers the MMF a little, so I add a little corn syrup to my Royal and it tastes great. I don't use NFSC recipe for my cookies, and that may be a big difference. The best thing you can do it test it out.

Meiganlove, how much corn syrup do you add to a recipe of RI? Does it make it flow more smoothly? Or is it the taste it improves? Would like to try it, too.
