Peanut Butter Icing Question

okay im new in this cake decorating stuff! im actually starting the first class of course 2 tonite!!! someone just inquired to me about making a cake for them and they want chocolate w/ peanut butter icing. can that be done? can you use PB icing to decorate?!?!!? i thought you couldn't but i may be wrong. if so is there a certain recipie that you need to use to decorate... what if i just put the initial layer PB and did my decs in BC/vanilla??? any help would be wonderful!!!

Here is one that I love, it is easy to make and tastes so good. I used it to fill a chocolate cake and then iced it in Sarah Bernhardt chocolate glaze, it was very decadent. The filling is stiff enough to use for borders if that is what you had in mind.

And here is the recipe for Sarah Bernhardt chocolate glaze, I often let this glaze set up till it is the consistency of canned icing, takes about 2 hours to set up. Then ice the cake with an icing spatula, it goes on very smoothly.

I LOVE the recipe on Jif's website, the cake and the icing are great. In my opinion everything tastes better with peanut butter.
