Does anyone have any input on how to get the grass effect and with what tip? I think I saw somwhere the tip is 233...not sure and cannot seem to find info. I am making cupcakes withe white fondant daisies and thought it would be cute to frost grass underneath instead of just smoothing icing on.

I have this tip, it works great for a grass effect. I used that tip for the grass on this cake:
If you want the grass to be standing, just use a stiff icing, and pull up and away(my grass is kind of slouching, lol)
Yes tip 233 is the one to use for making grass. You can see all the tips & what they are used for in a link on this site. Sorry don't know how to add an attachment to this link, but if you scroll down to the bottom of the home page, under the tutorials there is a link to more "how to's" & you'll find info on the tips there. That is a cute idea; using grass under the flowers. Hope this helps............

Don't make your icing too stiff or you will have carpal tunnel in no time flat!! Ouch! I always use a medium texture.
This tip makes a nice and interesting border too when making cakes; using all different colors. Great for hula skirts and shaggy bears too.
