I'm hoping that someone-more experienced than me(not hard)-can tell me what went wrong here....
I made some cupcakes to use up some chocolate icing left over from my primary class's cookie decorating party. It was from a can-not my usual way to go. ANYWAY...I thought that while I was at it I would add a few simple gumpaste cut outs to put on top of the cupcakes. They looked fine when I went to bed. The next morning however the little cut out gumpaste flowers were kind of melted and very glossy.
My question is this: Is this typical of this kind of situation, or was it because of the canned icing?
