Someone awhile back had brought up these little goodies. I bought some off of country kitchen and let me tell you....THEY ARE AWESOME! I made a lemon chiffon cake and made the buttercream dream icing to go with it. So I got out my raspberry icing fruit and mixed it with the buttercream dream. OH, YUMMY!!! icon_eek.gificon_biggrin.gificon_biggrin.gificon_biggrin.gif So I torted and filled my cake with it. This is one of the best raspberry fillings I have ever had. The icing fruits come in all kinds of flavors too. I had bought 1 raspberry and 1 lemon till I knew if I'd like them or not but I plan to try several others. They are like a pureed raspberry, very tasty and flavorful. Does have small seeds. Kinda sweet but not overly so. Deff should be mixed with icing or cake batter.

That might have been me that mentioned it in a thread on flavoring BC icing. I know I have talked about it a few times. I love that stuff. Even though you have to mix it in, it's still way better than the filling in the sleeve. It is so concentrated that you only need a little, and it tastes so much better!

Icing fruits are super-concentrated fruit that is added to icing for flavor and color. Like I said earlier, you only need a bit per cup of icing, and it makes the icing burst with flavor, unlike anything else I have tried, jam, oil, filling in a sleeve.

I bought mine from an associate who was going out of business, but they can be ordered through CK.

I am loving these. I couldn't order from CK because you have to have a business account so I found them here and I think they are reasonably priced especially considering you use so little at a time.

The ingredient lists look like sweeteners, fruit, artificial flavor. Is the overall effect like real fruit and not fruit flavoring (you know, like jello or candy is recognizable as strawberry or cherry flavored but doesn't actually taste like real strawberries or cherries)?
