i have never made babies. I have molded other figures with fondant and usually print a pic and use that as a guide. I have seen molds for babies on www.firstimpressionsmolds.com

Aine2 actually has a new figure modeling tutorial that I just purchased. It costs about $9 US and it is great. It's a download in PDF format that she will send you.

That forum is about that tutorial. There's also the link on there for her free tutorial on how to make fondant faces. She really is quite talented and the instructions are step by step.

What kind of Fondant babies do you want to make? I have made them on cupcakes with a rectangle of white fondant for the pillow and a ball on skin tone fondant for the head and used a foodwriter marker to draw on the face. Then pink or Blue for the baby blanket. Also roll a log of white fondant to put on the cupcake and lay the blanket on top so it looks like there is a body underneath.

Thanks for everything. I'm new at this.I'm in my class two for cake decorating. the only problems having is making the rose, and frosting is too hard or too soft.
