I made this little smash cake(my first) for my sisters little grandson who is one year old today. My sweet son says it is cool and my huby just snurled up his nose and said it doesn't look like a catapillar, so here it is I am trying to decide if I want to start over, after all he is just one year old. Thanks for lookingicon_smile.gif

Why is it hubbys can be our worst critics? One of the mysteries of the universe, I guess. Oh well, the cake is too cute. I would't change a thing.

Don't you dare start over!! That is so freaking adorable..I bet the little one will love it.
I think sometimes we are so critical of our work, that our husbands start to be too without even realizing it.

Thank you all for your kind comments, I really didn't want to start over. I think I am going to ask hubby if he even likes his self, he usually always has something negative to say about my cakes I just thought he was doing it for my own good so I could improve on the next one, soooo I'm starting to wonder since I always get postive opions from you experts who know what your talking about. Again thanksicon_smile.gif

I think it's adorable and will make a great Smash Cake. Lots of icing means lots of smashing and squishing and smearing. It'll be great!!!!
