I am finishing an army cake for a 5 year old tonight. I need a cute phrase instead of just Happy Birthday. HELP!

The only thing I can think of is to use the word "salute" somehow. I don't really know any army lingo! Sorry. icon_smile.gif

What does the cake look like? You could always say
"Uncle Sam wants you...to have a wonderful birthday" . Just a thought. Sorry couldn't be more help! Hope it's not too late.

I know it's too late now; but I was fortunate enough to have good names on two of my Army cakes. One boy was Joey, so I wrote Happy Birthday G. I. Joey. Another was Ryan, so I wrote Have a happy birthday Private Ryan, and that's an order. But, with my two other army cakes, I couldn't think of anything either.
