I am working on doing a cake for friday and what I planned isnt working. I need to do a letter "A, Club, Spade, Diamond, Heart" for my cakes. I did them in color flow bc I posted about black candy melts and I can't find them locally. But my color flow looks like crap, so I threw it out! Does anyone have any other ideas for what I need to do? I was going to try and do them in chocolate clay. PLEASE help me! Thanks Megan

How about FBCT (frozen buttercream transfer).

You could make several of each item so you have extra to choose the best.

Start with dark chocolate buttercream for black. Do you have americolor? I havent really had trouble getting red. You can get both of the colors! You can do it!!

Or stick with the CT's. Cant you get some black candy color? Or you can try to use your regular color and add some crisco to it. I dont know how well that works, but I know I have read that it does.

YOU CAN DO THIS!!

Believe it or not I havent gotten around to buying new colors yet, I want to use what I have! I was thinking about buying the already made from wilton and using that and kinda doing a FBCT with them. But I am not sure those will work either. I need this cake for friday so no time to order!

Make up some MMF! I used it for letters and such and it works great and you can get the colors you need easily with it.

I'm not sure exactly what you are doing, could you cut them out of fondant?

Americolor works great for black and red. Used it several times always true.

Do you all think that the MMF would taste okay on cream cheese icing??
