What Do You Think? Thomas Cake Sketch Update :cake Finished

Take a look at this sketch and tell me if its a good idea. the colors used are what I would liek to achieve. Thomas will be a frozen buttercream transfer. Any ideas how to enhance the design?
This is for a cupcakecake.

Very cute!! I cant wait to see the real cake!
Looks great. If you do the FBCT thin, then build up in the same colors of frosting, you can actually give it a 3 dimentional look. I did that with a baby shower cake I did with a baby buggy on it.

i don't understand how to do the cupcake thing... don't the cupcakes move around when you do this? do any of you know where there's an article or anything on this so i can learn? thanx!
just like w/ reg. cake...a little dab of icing under each cupcake holds them in place. just "mush" them together tight and then ice way like regular cake.

One more thing... I use the icing tip on the rows of cupcake and then smooth together. Piece of cake ![]()
