I have been asked to make a 12x18 sheet cake which takes 3 cake mixes. If I put an extra egg in each mix will it raise above and beyond my pan? If yes, how many should I add extra eggs too?

What is the advantage of fbct over just doing it on the cake? I have never done one. This lady wants Tweety and Mickey Mouse on the cake with a border done with balloons.

I have always just went by the recipe on the box (if I am using strickly the box method). In other words, personally I never added extra eggs.
The FBCT would allow you to draw your design in advance in case you have a busy work schedule and they turn out beautifully smooth from what I can tell. I am studying about them getting ready to try my first one tomorrow!

I read about the extra egg hear and wanted to give it a try. Thanks for your input.
