I'm not sure if this should be in this forum, but anyways.....
I'm making a cake for a birthday party on saturday, but I have no idea how much to charge!! I also am not sure exactly what size I need to make.....

It's supposed to feed 100 people...from what I've read, it should probably be a 12x18 inch sheet cake...or should it be bigger??

It's going to be to layers, with strawberry filling, and a simple balloon design on top.....I've never done strawberry filling before, so I have no idea how much to charge for that. How much do ya'll think the cake should cost?? I really don't know...I was thinking maybe $50...is that too much, or not enough?? Please help me!!

You could probably do 2 11x15's side by side- I would put it on a wood board. If it had filling in it I would charge at least $60 Hope this helps Marci

IMHO that is way too cheap. I personally charge $67 for a 12x18 in BC and that will feed about 54 people. Also, I charge extra for a strawberry filling since the ingredients are also expensive. You need 2 of those, side by side, to make a full sheet which will serve at least 100 people.

12x18 serves around 50 (I just looked online and a couple companies have this listed). Obviously your area will dictate how much you charge, I live in canada and near a large metro area, but if this is for 100 you should be charging at least a dollar a serving even though I think thats still very low considering its going to be double layered, I personally would be charging at least $150.
