Does anybody have a sugar-free cake recipe that produces a cake that tastes and looks like a real cake? The one I tried yesterday came out heavy as lead and had very little taste to it (I got the recipe here at CC).

I go to a senior potluck every Tuesday evening (we play Mexican Train dominoes after dinner) and I wound up being the desert maker. We have a few who should not be eating regular deserts, and they have been very good as guinea pigs while I try out my decorating skills, but I need to get back to the healthy desert, preferably cake! I've saved the jello mold with milk recipe and will use that soon, it sounds very good!

If you have any ideas please let me know. Thanks, Janice

I use the Splenda recipe called Spring Fling! It is on the splenda website...it's a little heavy but has a good taste!

BTW...love the avatar!

Well, I went to Splenda.com, but had no luck finding the Spring Fling cake, I don't think I like their website very much, I couldn't find anything there! If you run across the recipe sometime (don't go looking for it right now) could you send it to me? Janice

You're welcome! That site is a little confusing, I agree!
