rats!...i got the stomach flu a few days ago and still feel awful....
this comming week is going to be the busiest so far this year with multiple wedding cakes....waaaa!

Yes! I'm in MN and it's going around like wildfire! I have little kids so I try not to take them anywhere if I don't have to. My family says I might as well keep them in a bubble. 
Bummer that you're sick ... I had the same thing about a month ago, and it was miserable. There have been major outbreaks of the norovirus ("stomach flu") all over the country the last few months, so lots of people have had to suffer through it.

Oh, I know what you're saying blue. I would rather have anything else than something that makes you throw up!! I hate that!!!!!
It is all over Oregon. My whole family got it, son, husband, neice, nephew, mom, dad, sister-in-law, other nephew, and myself and we all live hours apart and did not spend time together when sick minus my son and my husband. It seems like my son's school is sick. As my son put it, "It is just palin yucky."
Oh, the stomach flu is just aweful!
My son got it last year and he missed a whole week of school. It was aweful, poor kid coudn't keep anything down. We had to take him to the emergency room, they put an IV in him and he had to have tylenol by suppository to bring his fever down 
I felt so bad for him.
He also got a touch of it during December or January but it wasn't as bad.

It's going around here in Iowa to. My DH has influenza A right now. I have been playing nursemaid this week to him AND my little girl. She has had ear infection though. It was so scary! At one time her fever got to 102.8! I start to get nervous when it gets close to 104! That to me means a trip to the ER. I have been crossing my fingers that I don't catch hubby's crud! I have two big cakes to do tomorow for his work. They are for an Anniversary party at the plant. For a guy that has worked there for 50 years! I'm a bit stressed becuase his boss and all the people he works with will see them! Most of them are already good customers of mine though but I always get nervous when it's for the boss!!! No pressure or anything! HA! Anna
Ugh! Sorry you got the "yuckies"! It has been going around here too, luckily I have been spared--knock on wood (oh yeah, that would be my head.. ). One of my friends got it the other day--just after we had lunch. Thought for sure it was lunch until she was home the next day and then her daughter got it today...
