Stacy,

I looked it up on Wilton and you can use it for: Outline, lettering, dots, balls, beads, stringwork, lattice, lacework & you can also use it to insert a filling into your cupcakes

Got this off the Wilton website about tip #230

No. 230 Round Decorating Tip
Outline, lettering, dots, balls, beads, stringwork, lattice, lacework. Tip works with standard bags and couplers.

For filling bismarks and eclairs

Hope this helps! Good luck with your new items!!!
