Help With A 3-D Horse Cake? Wilton Pan?
Decorating By CakeLadyM Updated 7 Mar 2007 , 3:42pm by CakeLadyM
I have been asked to do a horse cake for a little girl's 3rd birthday on the 18th.
I'd like to do a 3D horse, using the Wilton lamb stand up pan.
Does anyone here know where I can find the instructions for this type of cake? Or does anyone know how to do a horse instead of the lamb?
Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

I looked on Wilton and it's not part of the stand-up lamb directions, so I would either PM someone that has made one in the gallery, or use one of the pics to try to figure it out, here are some horses made from the lamb pan (not by me):

I actually made a unicorn out of the 3D duck pan if you would like another way to make a 3D horse, it's in my photos. Hope that helps!
I did a unicorn using the same method, the instructions are on the Wilton website:

you just don't need to make the horn!
Thank you, thank you, thank you BONJOVIBABE!!! ![]()
And those other pictures are great to go by for the mane, too. THANK YOU to both of you, verrrry much!
I think it's going to be super impressive when these folks and their little girl get this cake, for sure!
Sincerely,
