Hey I finally had my first decorating class...The instructor was ill and missed the last class we got a refund for the class plus$5.00 Class 2

I tried this recipie it is easy to make taste great and no molten Lava when trying to melt marshmallows

It's in the Fluff Yummy Book

http://www.marshmallowfluff.com/htm/recipe_frame.shtml Page 24

FLUFF FONDANT
In small bowl mix one 7 1/2-oz. jar Marshmallow Fluff with 1/4 tsp.
vanilla. Gradually stir in enough confectioners' sugar (about 2 c.)
until stiff enough to knead. Knead until mixture loses stickiness,
adding more confectioners sugar if necessary. Put fondant in a
bowl or jar; place a damp cloth over it and cover tightly. Store in a
cool place 2-3 days before using . Makes 3 1/2 cups.

Very good job. That recipe sounds alot like the marshmallow fondant I see on this site all the time.
Did you just cover the cake with the marshmallow and then do buttercream decorations? I bet the teacher was impressed!!

Oh, guess I misunderstood. But you are going to cover a cake with the marshmallow, right? I must be tired....You're doing a really good job with your cakes.
