Has anyone made the white chocolate paste? I am going to try and make pearls out of them. I misxed as in the recipe but when I was done it had the consistancy of a pie crust dough. It says to put in in a bag for 24 hours. Is this sounding right?

Im really trying hard!!! help

I always let it set overnight the next morning it will be hard actually too hard to use so do not panic.... Break or cut off a portion and knead.. I will even push down hard on the table with it then it will start to knead easier..... or condition in a pasta machine.

this was on this site and it is the White Chocolate paste

1 lb. 8 oz. White Chocolate
7/8 c. Granulated Sugar
1/4 c. + 3 1/2 Tbs. Water
3 1/4 c. Powdered Sugar

I left it overnight and yes it was hard as a rock but after doing a few batches I have learned to add just a touch of hot water and make it softer than I would have thought. I also used cornstarch so it would not stick to the board or in my hands. it has worked great. I also used the luter dust and they look great.
