Airbrushing Luster Dusts?

Has anyone tried this? I don't want to waste my dusts if it doesn't work.

Missyek,

You always keep me in stitches...yep, I can pipe in icon_lol.gif

I just mix it with vodka thinnly and sprayed. I airbrushed the shoes and purse located in my photos thumbs_up.gif .

Thanks stephanie214 I just looked at it and it looks great! Does it use more dust than brushing?

Actually, though, which airbrush do you have? I just have a the kopykake one with the small top loader cup (and Airmaster compressor). Is that good enought to get luster dust through?

luster dust thru an air brush... oh my goodness, i think a whole new world just opened up. what about the metallics? gold, silver, copper?

Depends on how deep in coverage/color you want. The purse took more spraying than the shoes. It took less dust because it has to be real thin for the airbrush.

Missey,

My main airbrush is the Badger. I just recently brought an off-brand with the bowl and jar connection. I have a small and large compressor...use to do nails icon_wink.gif and have no problem with either one. My large compressor have a regulator.
