I am fairly new at this well at least the pricing part, I could really use some help. One cake is a two teir 8in and 6in lavender fondant with white polka dots, chocolate with chocolate filling for one layer and the other is a coconut with lime and a topper of baby booties.
Cake No. 2 is a serving of 14 and is just one tier with giraffe, monkeys and lions topped with a gumpaste giraffe figure. Please help on how to price these I cant figure this matrix thing out, much less see it for that matter.
Thank you

Thanks so much for this price matrix, now if only I knew how to use it. I have a friend coming over next week a little more techy than me so I shall pick his brains about how I use this.
But just wanted to let you know that I really appreciate all this info sharing it really makes light work of hard stuff. Personally I just enjoy decorating and all this other stuff to run a business or hobby is just so not me, but needs to be done. Like a lot of life's stuff eh?![]()
I tried to open the matrix, but I have a Mac. Does anybody have this formatted for microsoft excel for mac? Pleas e-mail me (mod edited.)

Can I have this spread sheet or is there a link to it?
I would like to view this spreadsheet too. Can the OP repost the updated spreadsheet? You can PM me if you want.
Thanks!
I would love a copy of this matrix too (mod edited.)
First, I LOVE you matrix. It has so much info and is really fun to use!
I am having trouble understanding the serving sizes on the pricing tab.
For instance, if I enter 1-6 inch layer, the top says that the "Wilton Serving:7/Serving top layer:14/ Total Servings: -7".
This then carries over to the Customer/Friend tabs as "Number of Servings with Top Layer: 7" and "Number of Servings w/o top: -7".
I don't understand why this is the calculation. It has the same issues if I use different combos of cake layers (just chose 6 inch to make it easier to explain).
Help please. I love this matrix but I don't understand what is happening.
