Does anyone have a good source for simple templates that can be used for transfers onto cakes, i.e., baby items, bibs, booties, etc., maybe easy farm animals., etc. Maybe something on the internet?

Try the templates section of the gallery for booties, I think there is one there. Then try coloring pages in your favorite search engine for animal templates.

Coloring books or coloring pages online are great for cake designs. I also use calenders from the dollar store for ideas- buy a bunch at a time.

coloring books or google... just enter in what you want and look under images. Most everything has a line drawing.

Oh you have to take a look at Wilton's site. There is a template section...I found it yesterday and was in heaven! Try there and hopefully you will find some of the things you are looking for. icon_smile.gif

The online coloring page sites are a goldmine.....or if you have a progrm like Digital Image Pro 7, you can take anything you find (online or scanned) and convert it to coloring page/negative which makes it easy to make a template....a bit more work then just printing straight from the internet but comes in handy if you can't find the *exact* design you are looking for....great because then it easily flips for mirror image so it is correct after applying to cookie or cake....
