Well I will be starting my course 3 this thursday and was wondering if it is cheaper to buy the kit or just buy what I don't have? I have a lot of things already. Can anyone give me a list of what comes in course3 kit? I dont want to spend the money on it if I have most of the things. Like I bought course 2 kit when all I needed was the pans to make the final cake. Thank you Megan

I can not remember exactly what was in the kit but I know that it was not duplicates. I used a 40% off coupon so the cost was not as much. The list of what is in the kit is on the back of the box, that might help make your decision.

when I purchased my kits it always seemed that Michael's was running a special so it was always cheaper to buy the kit. I also have found that sometimes it is good to have duplicates especially icing tips when decorating so I didn't worry about getting something I already had.

If you are taking the course at Michael's you don't have a choice, you are required to buy the kit in order to take the course (unless your local store differs from the usual rules) but it's not very expensive with the coupon!
