I have an order for a bday cake for an 11 year old boy. Golf theme and she has requested 1/2 white and 1/2 chocolate to feed 30 people.

Any suggestions?

search the galleries (just search on "golf")....lots of good ideas. I particularily like the ones that shows a person on the links with sandtraps and water hazzards (to which I would a little ducky!)

as for 1/2 & 1/2...just divide the sheet pan with aluminum foil before pouring in batter. pour white on one side and chocolate in the other, remove foil and bake.

personal experience has show better to mix up full batch of white, then divide and add chocolate to one half of batter....gives same texture through whole cake.
