I have seen several cakes in the galley that have a really neat shape to them and I would like to make one too but I don't know what type of pan that they used.

It is a round pan . It's small at the bottom and then as it goes up it gets wider. Is this an actual pan or did they carve the cake to give it that shape?

TIA,
Chrissy

Pretty sure that it's a carved shape. Have never seen a pan like that before.

If you are refuring to the wacky cakes or topsy turvy ones they are carved to make them look smaller on bottom and larger on top.

I think that it must be a carved cake, I have never seen a pan shaped like that, but I am no expert, maybe someone else knows if this pan exists or not.

Could it be the Wondermold pan (used for Barbie cake dresses) turned upside down?
