I need some advice on doing a 3D truck cake. I've never made one and I was curious if you would cut a truck bed out of the cake or not? My hubby says no because it would break apart. Any advice is appreciated. Thanks in advance.

What kind fo truck are you looking to do? I just did a dump truck and I left the hump on the cake to make it look like a load in the back of the truck! Take a look at my pic and if you have any questions PM me.

I've not made a truck, but my hottub cake was cut down out of the cake leaving a 1/2 rim for the edge of the tub. Worked just fine, it stayed for days without cracking.
