I was looking at the Cake Mix Dr book online and found this one. Anyone have it? How is it?

I took it out from the library a while back but it did not leave an impression on me. Sorry I can't help.

I haven't used the cupcake book. I have the regular and chocolate books.

I use the same recipe for all of my cakes and cupcakes. It is my family's favorite and is very easy!

I'm sure the book would be worth it. I've enjoyed mine.

Borrow it from the library then make a decision for yourself if you want to buy one.

I have made the apricot cake and folks love it. Also the Bacardi Rum cake and one with cardamom in it. Quite a few actually. I have taken the Bacardi Rum one and used espresso and Kahlua and used it for a tiramisu type cake with marscapone filling. Then I put coffee for liquid in my BC and it was a delish cake.

BTW I got my cupcake one on E-Bay for much less than retail.

Tug....I live in a VERY small town, so I'm not sure they'd have it. Actually, our only library is at the college....

I really like mine. I have all 3 books and couldn't live without them! The cupcake book has a lot of really good muffin recipes in it as well. I got mine really cheap on half.com.
