Excuse these questions, but...What is IMBC and SMBC?

IMBC = Italian Meringue Buttercream
SMBC = Swiss Meringue Buttercream

Don't even worry about it! They just stand for Italian Merengue ButterCream and Swiss Merengue ButterCream.
