First, I made the Crusting Cream Cheese Icing yesterday and iced my cake. Now I need to do my borders and the icing has been in the fridge all night so it is very hard. Is there a good way to quick thaw it so I can get to work? Also, I need some brown for some of my decorations and have some chocolate left from another cake I did yesterday. Is it going to be a bad idea to mix cream cheese icing and chocolate icing on the same cake? Thanks for any suggestions!!!

Microwave in 10 second increments until it's soft enough

I think cream cheese and chocolate sound delicious together. icon_smile.gif

I have made chocolate cream cheese icing and put it on a cake before, and it is yummy. Everyone at the party loved it, and kept saying what a good cook I was. So they taste great together I think. It was the crusting cream cheese icing recipe that I used, and I just added cocoa to get the flavor I wanted.
