I thought I had enough flour to make the NFSC. Well, I am about 2 cups short. What is the difference between softasilk cake flour and regular all purpose flour? Can I substitute cake flour for the regular flour? My son is napping and I can't get to the store. Help! Thank you.

I am not absolutely positive, but I think cake flour has baking soda in it already so it will make your cookies "puff" more and not keep much of the shape.
