Chocolate Covered Oreos... A Couple Of Questions
Baking By JenWith Updated 4 May 2007 , 1:39pm by HeatherABC
I bought my packaging at www.choklitmolds.com
The box is BO-3 and maybe for individual packaging you could use bag BA-2 and cut it down to size.
The only downside to choklitmolds.com is that they have a $50.00 minimum. But I always seem to find something to bring myself way OVER that minimum LOL ![]()
You guys.........I couldn't resist any longer. I just ordered 2 of the plain molds from SpinningLeaf! I can't wait to get them!

For those of you that are having a problem with the chocolate sticking to the mold, even after you are sure it is set, you might try cleaning the inside of the mold with some vegetable oil on a paper towel. When I have problems with my candy molds that what I do and it work really well.
I purchased molds from spinningleaf about a month ago, but haven't used them yet.... hmmm...maybe tomorrow.
I also have a question. What size paper cups fits these molds?

I just use standard size cupcake cups. I try to match them to the occasion.
Tayesmama-when you add do you put it in the mold first or do you dust the cookie when you take it out of the mold?
TIA!
This question was not for me but if you look at my shamrock and Thanksgiving oreos in my photos, I put the luster dust on after I took them out of the molds.
I bought some Wilton candy melts this morning then went to my Walmart and checked the ingredients for Almond Bark and they're exactly the same. And my Walmart has Almond Bark in all kinds of flavors: butterscotch, mint, cherry, dark chocolate and of course, vanilla.
I'm jealous! I've never seen different flavored bark at my Walmarts. Where was it located? In the baking isle? I love working with Almond bark.
