Hi Missyleigh! I'm about a hour away from Little Sturgis...I've never been but I have several family members that go every year. (I'm planning on going sometime) I think sometimes it gets a little wild, but that is just like anywhere you have a big crowd of people. During that time of the year, our town is covered with motorcycles from all over the world heading to Sturgis...and they come back every year so it must be a blast! thumbs_up.gif

Well, it was back in 94 when I went. I went 2 years in a row with my now husband, his brother and girlfriend and their mom and her boyfriend. I wasn't too crazy about it. It definately can get wild! Which made me uncomfortable. I've heard that it's not as wild as it used to be but I have no desire to go back. It's beautiful around the black hills but I'd rather go when the Rally isn't going on. It's hard to say what you should do, who would you go with? If you're going with some wild people and you don't like that sort of thing then I would say you probably wouldn't like it. But then again, I've never been to the one in KY though.

If it was me, I wouldn't stay the night. I live close enough I could drive home....if I were you and going...I would book a motel close as I could to Sturgis and stay the night there. You would probably have to get your reservation for a room pretty quickly because the motels around here fill up fast at that time of year!! If you decide to go let me know and maybe we could meet! thumbs_up.gif It would be awesome to meet someone from CC!!

You could stay at a motel here...I know it's still a hour away, but there are usually openings at that time of the year.

I'm in Princeton (I'm not sure what route you guys will take), you could also book a room at Providence, KY.
