I made an alligator cake last week. I found an alligator figurine at the dollar store and just airbrushed a swamp scene. they just wanted a sheet cake and did not want to pay the price for sculpting. For my Florida gator fan I draw a forida gator wearing a jersey and cap and cut him out of 2 11x15 choc sheet cakes and decorated him with buttercream. Everyone loved him!

Look in my photos. All you need is a bundt pan. Make 2 bundt cakes and cut each one in half. Connect them so you make an "S". I used 2 cakes. The body is 3 halves and the 4th half was cut down for the mouth portion of the head. I made a square 8 inch square and carved the end of the tail and the upper head. The eyes and feet were cupcakes cut down the middle. The whole thing was decorated with BC and a star tip. It was one of the easiest cakes I have made and it was a total hit! Hope this helps

I did this one using the huggable teddy pan with the ears cut off for the body, then you take a 13x9 and cut the shape of the mouth and tail out of it. But it ends up being a really long cake.
