I am looking for a moist chocolate cup cake recipe, I was thinking of using a chocolate pound cake recipe but how long would I bake them? I do not want to overbake. I also need a yellow moist cake recipe for cupcakes. Thanks icon_smile.gif

Try the white almond sour cream cake recipe found here on CC but substitute chocolate and yellow cakes. Your cake mix should tell you how long and what temp to cook the cup cakes. The wasc is pretty good. thumbs_up.gif I have tried it and really liked it. icon_biggrin.gif Mary

You can just doctor your cake mixes with pudding and an extra egg. That works great.

When the cupcakes come out of the over allow them to cool for a little bit and then while they are still warm put them into a large zip-lock bag. This will help keep them extra moist.

If you use the chocolate cake you can add some Jello pudding in chocolate fudge flavor. I like that one alot. I add french vanilla pudding to my yellow cakes.

Some of the ladies here substitute the flavored coffee creamers for the water that you need in a box mix. I have yet to try this but I plan on doing so.

HTH,
Chrissy
