Luster dust? I need just a little to paint a buckle of a dog collar and I dont' know how to mix it since it didn't come with instructions. Do I just add enough liquid to make it a a little watery as opposed to powdery or do I just paint it on dry?????? I need to do this tonight so please help quick1!!

I use vodka when painting with luster dust. I just get the amount of dust i think I need out, then use a medicine dropper to add a little vodka at a time to get the right consistency to paint with. If it is too runny you will get streaks, and if it is too thick you will get clumps. Jen

the best thing i can say is to just go for it and see what you like. get a little fondant to pactice on and experiment with your luster dust. you really just have to try it. and when i do mine, it is a little thinner than the craft paint, but not by too much.
