My cakes are frozen and I can't fill or ice so tomorrow's going to be a hassle! They are stuck together! I torted before freezing- BAD IDEA, now they won't come apart and I already broke one! icon_cry.gif

What should I do?

Could I microwave them. . . icon_redface.gif

I really wouldn't advise nuking them.

Cake defrost pretty quickly--it's not that late in CA--so try again in an hour to separate them.

If it were me, I'd get them apart, filled and crumb coated, go to bed, and get up very, very early tomorrow to decorate.

While they're defrosting, you can get the icing and boards prepared and ready to go.

Good Luck.

D'oh!! Not good! I would say just give them 30 minutes and you should be ok... if not, you know what works... a clean towel over a heating pad, then cake on top of that, then another clean towel. Don't look at me like that... I am serious! icon_wink.gif

I've read that buttercream makes a nice glue! Good luck! Cake really does defrost pretty fast.
