Dream Whip Icing Question

i love this icing, but i was jsut wondering if anyone has tried to make the recipe with butter??

also, do u think if i just sub butter for the all shortening or half and half it for the recipe it would make a difference...it's a really important cake and i dont want to mess up

I use this recipe all of the time, but have not tried it with butter. You may be able to use half butter, or 1/4 butter but, I am sure that all butter would make it to soft.
