Hi, I use the DH mixes for my 3D mini bear pan, but I use it with 4 eggs, a packet of Dream Whip (Kroger's brand which is just as good and less expensive) 1/3 cup veg. oil, and usually 1/2 cup of sour cream and 1/2 cup water. Works fine with the mini bear. HTH Janice
I have used it. I had no problems. I think the directions in the 3-d bear box, it had some info on reducing liq amounts of reg box mix for the 3-d bear. If you don't have the instr. sheet let me know. I'll dig mine out and check it.
I did a trial run first. found out important info. Better to over fill bear!!!! or poor guy might be missing a foot
Just put a pan under it to catch overflow.
I use the DH mix for the bear. I use the pound cake adaptation on the side of the box:
1 cake mix,
1 pkg. of instant pudding mix
4 large eggs
1 c. water
1/3 c. vegetable oil
I find that this works very well in the 3D mold. Make sure that you follow the cooling directions for the bear mold ! If you don't, it well be very hard to get the bear out of the mold in one piece. Don't rush removal from the pan, either. This one has to be completely cooled before you remove it.

I've used the DH golden yellow cake mix (you add butter to this one), with really great results. I spray the 3D mold with Pam.
