I have only used edible images a few times - I dont have the printer but get them printed at a local grocery store...anyways I got some today because I need to make some fondant plaques. I put them on the plaques and now it seems they are fading?? icon_cry.gificon_cry.gif This cake is for a military ball and I really want it to look nice. I am wondering if the icing sheet maybe got to dry (though I have had it in a ziplock and it was on the fondant in a matter of about an hour or so.... or maybe the icing sheet was it old??? Can anyone shed some light on this?

Thanks!

I've never had that problem with mine but I'll give you a bump.

They will definitely fade/shift color. But, I've not had that happen in a day! Usually a week or so. Is there blue or purple in the design? Those colors are the most unstable. Did the images look good when you picked them up? I've seen some done by cake shops and grocery bakeries that were kind of pale to start with, which is why I got my own system. I wasn't happy with the quality I was seeing from commercial sources.
