What program do you use to track your (personal/family) financial activities?

I need to get a new one and am just wondering which one everyone uses, and the thumbs_up.gif pros thumbs_up.gif and/or thumbsdown.gif cons thumbsdown.gif of said program.

Thanks

I like quicken
I have also used microsoft money. It's ok too. The only thing I don't like about it is that it gets my info directly from my bank on the internet. As transactions clear, they are automatically added to the register. I can't figure how to turn that feature off.
I keep everything categorized and I have to go in and add the category to those transactions. I feel it would be easier to do this as I put them in.

For my home stuff I just use excel. I have a simple formula set up to use it to balance my checkbooks. I budget out a couple months in advance for bills that I have every month and for grocery money so I can what's coming up too.

But in my day job at the Humane Society (I am the admin officer) and for my business (that I no longer have) I use(d) Quickbooks. I love quickbooks.

I could just as easily use QB at home but I am on it all day at work and don't need that much information/detail. icon_lol.gif
