I haven't done much with fondant and I'm doing a cake this weekend and I want to do some funky fondant flowers as accents on a bc covered cake. Do I make them ahead and let them dry or do them and put them on while they are soft?
I put them on right after cutting them out. They stick right on to IM buttercream, or I use just a little bit of warm water to stick them on to fondant cakes.
Thanks! I made the flowers last night and then thought that maybe I shouldn't have. But I guess they will work for this even if they are dry. Guess that's how we learn!!
