We've had a sick house for a few days, just getting over it now. Of course, I've still had to feed and nurse everyone, keep up with school work, etc, while the family got to play playstation and sleep. Big deal, used to it.
Today, we HAVE TO get groceries if we want to eat. "Can't we do it later?" (insert whine voice) "Well, we could, but ds will have lots of homework from missing school, supper needs time to cook, I have a cake to start on and need ingredients, you'll be out of Coke by this afternoon, and dd has to be in bed early since she has school tomorrow. See why it needs done right away?"

"Yep, and now you know why Mommies can't take days off - there's too much catch-up work to make it worth it."

Did you get it on tape? He will swear it was the fever. ![]()

Yes, Mothers never get to take a sick day. Our work is never done and we are very underpaid! HA! We have been sick alot lately to. I feel for you and understand completely how you feel! You must have had to pick your jaw up off the floor when he said that! Anna
same thing happens when I am sick or if I have lots of cakes to do. The house gets neglected. No one ever thinks to pitch in and take care of it. Sometimes just cleaning up after themselves would be greatly appreciated. My son is seven my daughter is three and a half. Slowly starting to try to teach them to pick up thier toys but it's a daily struggle.
I am a 31 year old stay at home Mom. I can tell you that it is a full time job running a household, running a cake bussiness. raising two young children and being a wife to my husband of 13 years. I think we are starting to enter dangerous territory where there could be some stepping on toes. I certainly don't want to do that. I think that we all have busy lives. We all have our own crosses to bear. We do what we have to do to day to day. I admire all women everywhere who give their all and do their best in what ever station of life they have chosen for themselves. Anna
