Good afternoon ladies/gentlemen

If I make snow white buttercream using Crisco as my shortening,
can I still add corn syrup and use it as a BC glaze.

Good afternoon, I think that cali4dawn says it has to be at least 50/50 shortening and butter. Check out the recipe under frosting and it should say BCT or buttercream transfer and it will give Cali's recipe.

You should be able to do this with your regular buttercream recipe and just add the corn syrup. It's approximately 50/50. It will vary depending on your climate.
