get my colorflow pieces to be more glossy than matte? I have a couple of pieces I need to complete for a birthday cake and I would like them to be shiny!

Also, which would be better...colorflow or RI? I'm really not fond of either, but, to get the effect I need...that's what it has to be!

THANKS!

All my colorflow items have ended up matte finish. I would like to know if there are any tricks for that also. I generally use RI because of the same issue.

To get a shiny finish on either colorflow (the stronger of the 2) or royal icing, you need to set them under a lamp (gooseneck type reading lamp is best so that you can get it fairly close to the piece) to dry.

Apparently by drying the surface first it stays shiny.

I have used my hair dryer! After I make the piece, I just blow it gently with my dryer for a couple of minutes and that seems to help to make it dry shiney!
