I made one recently that turned out really good, but it only had a subtle strawberry flavor. I added a jar of strawberry jam to my regular buttercream recipe. I was planning to color it green anyway, so the strange color from the jam didn't matter.

I did the same as bonniebakes. I just added Strawberry Preserves (has chunks of strawberries in it) to my Buttercream. I kept mixing it until it was well incorporated. Tasted Great!
