Strawberry Buttercream

Anyone have a good strawberry buttercream recipe? I know that nati made a cake with it, but I already asked her for too many recipes. icon_smile.gif

I made one recently that turned out really good, but it only had a subtle strawberry flavor. I added a jar of strawberry jam to my regular buttercream recipe. I was planning to color it green anyway, so the strange color from the jam didn't matter.

I did the same as bonniebakes. I just added Strawberry Preserves (has chunks of strawberries in it) to my Buttercream. I kept mixing it until it was well incorporated. Tasted Great!

Thanks. I tried a recipe last night. Was 2cups of butter, 4lbs powdered sugar and 2 cups finely chopped fresh strawberries. I added a couple tablespoons of kitchen kettle strawberry jam. it was really good. icon_smile.gif
