okay to use? Do you always have to refridgerate it? I use the Wilton recipe...remember that I had some I made last week, and left it out after I was done with the cake, and curious if I can use it now. Just merinque powder, crisco, 10x sugar, water, salt and vanilla...curious. Kitchen is in my basement, and it never gets over 60 degrees, and dark most of the time.

Please advise thumbs_up.gif Thanks!

You can leave it out. I think they say 2 weeks or so. If you use any dairy (meaning a couple of tablespoons) you can still leave it out, but just 2-3 days and refrigerate the leftovers.

I've left it out on my counter before. I have done so overnight and up to about 24 hours with no problem. Otherwise I just stick it in the fridge until I need it.
