I have a brochure from Cheryl & Co. and Mrs. Fields and they sell decorated sugar cookies. They say it is a buttercream icing, but I was wondering, what recipe it would be? Do you think it is the 1/2 shortening and 1/2 butter recipe? Wouldn't that be too creamy/soft to deliver without getting ruined?
I think the Mrs. Field's cookies that are here in Houston(the one in my area) uses a buttercream without butter. One of my daughter's friends ordered a cookie cake from there and the icing did not taste buttery at all. It was harder and very sugary.
I have not heard of Cheryl's...I don't think we have one here. ![]()
